For Easter weekend Cody came to spend the weekend with us so he spent the night on Saturday and we all woke up Sunday morning excited to see what the Easter bunny brought us. This year the Easter bunny brought us lots of candy (Mostly all reeses mmm), kites, yo-yo's, pringles, he brought me hair claws and nail polish along with yummy nutri grain bars. After we took pictures with our baskets and played with our yo-yo's a bit we had a yummy breakfast casserole that had been cooking in the crock pot over night as well as fruit and orange juice. We then headed over to my parents where we all went to church at their ward then went to their house to have a great easter dinner consisting of turkey, sweet potatoes, a beautiful salad, hot soft rolls, jello casserole, mashed potatoes and stuffing. After begging my parents to do an easter egg hunt for us they finally gave in even though they thought we were all too old to have an easter egg hunt seeing as how we are all over the age of 19 but you're never too old to have an easter egg hunt, that just means they can hide it harder. The dyeing of our easter eggs was exciting and let me tell ya....the easter egg dying was pretty intense lol. It was a great first Easter as a married couple I can't wait for many more holidays to come with my sweet hubby. He's so appreciative and excited to celebrate all the big and little holidays throughout the year together and he loves all the little things we do to celebrate.
