Mini Honeymoon
After leaving the reception Dillon and I went on a mini honeymoon down to the Radisson Hotel in Salt Lake City for a couple days. His sweet aunt Heather had gotten us our hotel which we appreciate so much. Once we got there Dillon loaded up the luggage cart and we headed up to our room. We opened the door and were soo astonished to see that his family had decorated our room so beautifully there were rose pedals all over the place leading from the door all the way to the bed and all over the bed, there were chocolates next to the bed and on the bed as well as a rose. There were 3 vases full of roses and flowers which smelt amazing and filled the whole room with their wonderful aroma. His family had put candles and wine glasses with Martinelle on the bar with gift cards to the movies, outback steak house and olive garden. It was so romantic, what a great family to this for us and top our wedding day off with this.
The whole time in Salt Lake City we just relaxed and slept which was so nice, we went to ihop for breakfast and then Olive Garden for Dinner and we relaxed at the hotel and watched "Soul Surfer" and ate all our goodies. Maglebys and my mom had prepared boxes for us to take to the hotel with food and our wedding cake since we didn't eat at the reception and my amazing sisters made us a huge goodie basket with all of our favorite treats and more martinelle! We have been so blessed to have such great families who love and support us and sacrifice so much for us.
For our honeymoon, because we are in the middle of school, we will be going to Mesa Colorado in December for a winter honeymoon which we are so excited for! Dillon loves snowboarding so we will be going snowboarding, dog sledding, snowmobiling, sleigh riding etc. can't wait!
